Removing coffee and tea stains from teeth safely
Having a great smile is a key for success. In order to have great self confidence and to feel attractive, you’ll want to look your best. However, even the most beautiful person can become not so attractive if their teeth are yellow or brown from harmful effects of coffee or tea stains. I mean really, think about it, all of the commercials and huge billboards with gorgeous girls on them, what do they all have in common? You got it. Bright white smiles.
There are several ways to whiten your teeth. Some are more expensive than others, but you will want to find the one that works best for you and your checkbook.
The first way is getting a “power bleach” from your dentist.
What will happen is you will go to your dentist and have trays fitted for your teeth but not your gums. You will then sit there anywhere from a half an hour to an hour with a bleaching treatment depending on how white you want and how dark your teeth are now.
With the help of a laser light from your dentist, your enamel will be bleached and your pearly whites will emerge. The price range for this treatment is anywhere from 300 dollars to 1,300 but money well spent as you won’t have to have it done again for many months especially if you take care of your teeth.
The second way is buying an at home bleaching kit.
What you will get is a one size fits all bleaching kit and the gel. This option is not for the one who is limited on time. You will have to put the gel and trays on for about 2 hours a day for a minimum of 2 weeks depending on your teeth condition. This treatment costs anywhere from 50 dollars to 200 dollars.
The third way is using whitening toothpaste.
This is probably best for people who have minimal damage as this does not actually whiten your teeth; it only prevents them from getting even more yellow. It’s cheap, usually around 5 or 10 dollars but not great for actually whitening. In fact, I recommend this for an after whitening step.
The final way is a preventative measure.
Take care of your teeth people! Try to avoid things that stain your teeth in the first place. Or if like me, you cant live with out your double chocolate mocha, make sure you brush your teeth directly after drinking. And that’s the best thing you can do.
Hope these tips help you with your pearly whites, and more important your self esteem and the way the world views you as the beautiful person that you can now be not only on the inside but outside as well.
